From Monachos.net
The Patristics Master List is a master A-Z index of patristic source texts in English, available on-line through the Monachos.net Library as well as other sites around the internet. It aims to be as comprehensive as possible, providing direct links to the source texts in accessible English translations on-line.
Monachos.net provides on-line editions of hundreds of patristic texts in its own local collection (the Monachos Patristics Library), which have been edited and corrected by members of the Monachos.net Library Project to provide for editions of a higher quality than found on other, largely scan-based sites. Additionally, all local library documents contain study tools, which may include downloadable Word versions of documents for home use, clearly-formatted printable versions, links to studies and commentaries, cross-referencing to other documents, etc.
Editing the hundreds of texts in the patristic corpus is a time-consuming process (with which you can help), and while texts are being prepared for publication in the Monachos Library, links are provided in the Master List to texts available on other web sites. Monachos.net is not responsible for the formatting or content of these external sites and pages, but provides such links in order that the listing of patristic sources be as extensive and thorough as possible. Eventually, all texts linked as external will be edited in Monachos.net versions and included in our local library, with various extended features for each.
If you know of a patristic source text on-line in English that is not included in our Master List, please let us know of its title, author and location (URL) so that it may be added to the index.
