You can format text in the Monachos.net Library using wiki markup (that is, the markup language used by the MediaWiki system which powers the Library, and which is most popularly known from the Wikipedia web site). This consists of normal characters like asterisks, single quotes or equation marks which have a special function in Monachos.net's wiki markup language, sometimes depending on their position. For example, to format a word in italic, you include it in two single quotes like ''this''.
