This eNewsletter has existed since the site was first launched in 2000; however, we have only in November 2007 moved the eNewsletter from our previous locally-hosted system to the GoogleGroups environment. This allows subscribers to have greater control over their subscription, delivery options, etc.; and also makes it easier for us to send out timely, well-formatted and displayed messages to subscribers. The security features of the GoogleGroups system also help ensure that list abuse never takes place. Please note that if you are already a subscriber to the eNewsletter on the older system, you do not need to re-subscribe above: your subscription will be transferred automatically.
