Make the A Word From the Holy Fathers... page your web browser's default homepage/start up page, and you will be presented with a different quotation from the fathers of the Church each time you start surfing the internet.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mozilla Firefox (suggested browser—read why...)

1 - Open your Mozilla Firefox browser.
2 - Navigate to page http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml (or http://www.monachos.net for the main Monachos.net front page).
3 - Under the "Tools" menu, select "Options". Click the "General" tab of the Options window.
4 - In the field marked "Home Page", click "Use Current Pages". Then click "Ok" to save.

(Alternatively, follow step 1 and then step 3. In the "Home Page" field mentioned in step 4, manually type in the address http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml in the 'Location(s)' box and click "Ok" to save.)

Mozilla Firefox - Deer Park Alpha 2

1 - Open your Mozilla Firefox Deer Park Alpha 2 browser.
2 - Navigate to page http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml (or http://www.monachos.net for the main Monachos.net front page).
3 - Under the "Tools" menu, select "Options". Click the "General" tab of the Options window.
4 - In the field marked "Home Page", click "Use Current Page". Then click "Ok" to save.

(Alternatively, follow step 1 and then step 3. In the "Home Page" field mentioned in step 4, manually type in the address http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml and click "Ok" to save.)

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x, 6.x and newer

1 - Open your Internet Explorer browser.
2 - Navigate to page http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml (or http://www.monachos.net for the main Monachos.net front page).
3 - Under the the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options".
4 - In the "General" tab of the resulting Internet Options window, find the section marked "Home Page" and click the "Use Current" button. Click "Ok" at the bottom of the window to save.

(Alternatively, follow step 1 and then step 3. In the "Home Page" field mentioned in step 4, manually type in the address http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml in the field labeled "Address", and click "Ok" to save.)

Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or 4.0

1 - Open your browser.
2 - Select the "View" menu. Under "View," select "Options," then "Navigation."
3 - From the "Navigation" box, locate the "Address" box. Erase the current address and type http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml (or http://www.monachos.net for the main Monachos.net front page).
4 - Click "OK" on the bottom of the "Navigation" box.

Netscape Communicator 4.0 or higher:

1- Open your browser
2 - Select the "Edit" menu, then "Preferences." While in the "Preferences" window, locate the "Navigator Starts With" box.
3 - Click the button next to the phrase "Home page".
4 - In the "Home Page" box, erase the current address in the "Home Page Location" field and type http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml (or http://www.monachos.net for the main Monachos.net front page).
5 - Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.

Netscape Navigator 3.0

1 - Open your browser.
2 - Select the "Options" menu, then "General Preferences."
3 - At the bottom of the "General Preferences" window is the "Browser Starts With" box. Select the button marked "Home Page Location".
4- Erase whatever address is listed and replace it with http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml (or http://www.monachos.net for the main Monachos.net front page).
5 - Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.

If you use America Online 3.0 or higher

1 - Open the browser and click the "Prefs" button.
2 - In the box "Your Home Page," erase the current address and type http://www.monachos.net/quote.shtml (or http://www.monachos.net for the main Monachos.net front page); or, click on the "Members" menu from anywhere on America Online, then "Preferences." Follow the preceding directions.
